About The Teacher 

Hello my name is Ms. Felicia Gayle Hairston and I enjoy working with middle school children. I have a daughter who is a cosmetologist and "my hunk of love" grandson. This is my 7th year teaching at Edythe J. Hayes Middle School. I am also a member of the "Red Hat Society" which is an organization for women over the age of 55 years of age.

As you can see, I have been around for many years and I am looking forward to my students wearing many "hats" in my classroom.
